I am now using v. 3.9 of Shopping Cart Creator Pro.

Every time I open the program, it creates a new category called New Category and the next number.

I click the Don't Publish Category button, but the next time I open the program, it creates a new category called New Category and the next number.

This is extremely annoying!!!!

Why not just turn that feature off and then it will not be so annoying?

Edit Menu > Settings and change Create New Products and Categories and then select Manually.

BTW, this setting has been in Shopping Cart Creator since the very first release.

Thanks Scott, I'll do that.

But it must have been set as default in the new version. I don't remember having had to do this since the first version came out.
