Its just occurred to me, when i used cubecart prospective new cubecart customers had a link in the download free trial page to latest live shops, so you could go and see what other people were doing with the program

It also very clearly said, please do not do trial purchases as these are customers live shops

basically it was a list of the most recent free trial downloads and actually bad advertising as lots of the shops never got past the starting post

HOW ABOUT : a place where those of us who are proud of our shops, could have a place to list our shops NAME url one above the other for the same purpose, but instead of the NO TRIAL PURCHASES it would actually be a way of new users seeing how the cart operates all the way to checkout, because we dont collect data anyway.

over on the right here under forum tools possibly ?

Could do similar for VSD for live websites

Even for HTML editor

Or is everyone just going to get paranoid about bandwidth

I also wonder if CC have considered sending out an email to the thousands of people who own SCCP to see how many users have successfully run a shop with it, regular purchases etc., OK in my signature i am proud to display the success of mine, but lets face it, theres only a handful or so of live shop owners, who have the time to frequent the forums regularly

Isn't that already done with the already 4 to 6 threads for people to post their shops in, and their VSD sites, and their HTML Editor sites etc.? I'm pretty sure that's already covered on the forums here Viv.

To much hunting around, ok for those of us who understand the forum etc.

But for a prospective NEW CC customer wouldn't it be nicer to have a list, one neatly above the others

just seems like a CC SCCP shop window with easy access, not needing to troll through pages and pages of forum threads.
