I am having the same issue. I cannot update my shop because I cannot check the 'allow insecure certificates' box. If checked it goes back to unchecked after leaving the server window. Other changes to Direct FTP are reflected in Shopping Cart Creater Pro but not the 'allow insecure certificates' setting.
