Only one of my sites still uses SCC Pro, mainly due to my need for text entry fields for personalisation of products.

As the program has not really altered since summer 2011 apart from bug fixes, are there still any plans to develop the shopping cart programs any further, or are they now both effectively at the end of their product cycle?

Time moves on and most shopping cart programs now offer responsive layouts, which reflects the fact that a large percentage of net users now browse using portable devices.

I do believe the shopping cart apps will get either an overhaul or be replaced with responsive programs at some later date that will hopefully have a lot of the requested features that users have been asking for.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

To get all those requested features in, especially for the customer to enter text fields or 'notes to seller' will require a database driven solution and a substantial rewrite of the program, so it not something I am realistically expecting to appear within the next few months, if at all.

Both of the other eCommerce programs I use now. have both moved onto responsive templates which seems to be the way forward but the essential difference is they are already there.
