I find that when I push the Inventory button that it's default function is to sync from the server to my pc. So the only way to update a quantity of an item from my pc to the server is to publish the whole shopping cart again or is there a way of updating new inventory stock without a complete shopping cart publish procedure?

Hiya Lar,

The only way to update your inventory to your site is to reupload the shop. The good news is that it doesn't upload the entire site, it will only upload the things that have been changed, be they Inventory changes, graphics changes, product additions/removals etc. Only the changes will be updated or deleted as necessary. The Sync button is only to update your current local files to the current uploaded inventory information. This helps if you have a lot of sales and want to be able to see the current quantities of your products within the program as you are updating them.

Have you tried with S-Srive yet? It is amazingly fast and you get statistics, logging and more!
