I am offering two free books when customers purchase my product.
How do I automatically redirect them to that page after they make a purchase.
Or, is that not possible?

Totally 'shopping cart ignorant' here, but wouldn't that be an option within the payment collection program? - Paypal for example. It's been years since I used it, but I have a vague memory of an option to return to the website after purchase.

I don't think you can do that yet, but after they pay you can send them a secure download link.
