how do I change the white background on both sides of the image? I have figured out how to change it when you click on it (changed it to black) would like to do the same (change the white to black) when you open the above page.
Am I making sense?

The only way you can change that is in Shopping Cart Designer Pro. In there you can set the height and width for all images. Then in SCC you will need to re-add all your images back in and make sure each image set to the correct new height and width.
