Back when I bought the software, I was trying to figure out free shipping, either through the software itself, or through Google Checkout. Feel to check into what was discussed (http://tinyurl.com/4u5fsfn). It seems that Coffee Cup software has more control over the shipping than Google and over rides it, which I am fine with.
My question this time is directed towards the people who use the weight based shipping. My previous thought was anything over $100 is free freight, anything under $100 is 7.95, and since the software doesn't have the ability to do shipping from cost, couldn't I do the same thing with weight? BUT, instead of putting the weight of each product, just use the price as the weight. So, essentially, it would be anything over 100 pounds would be free and anything under would be 7.95. Think that would work? I can't use the weight as a measure of shipping because with the products I sell, the lighter weight products are the more expensive ones
Sorry for what seems to be the straight forward question (in my mind it would work), but since I haven't dealt with the weight based I thought I would ask those that have. .
