I believe that will work for pretty much anything in SCC programs. That's what I was given by one of the CC support people quite a while ago, but I haven't used the SCC programs in quite a while so give it a try and see if it works.

Rolly, back to this font issue. I downloaded the font I wanted to use as you suggested. I located it in my files, but there was no response when I tried to upload it. The font is a .ttf file. I see that only some file types are supported in the Storage tab and I wonder if this one is not, although it is very common. Did you run into the same trouble? How did you get around it?

Orlando suggested zipping it which I would have to learn to do [ doing a lot of that recently ] , and then learn to unzip it once it is uploaded????

I am also unable to upload .jpgs When I choose a file folder where the pix are stored it shows it as empty ~ but I know it is not, so I guess it is not allowing the .jpgs? It wants .pngs?

I was wondering if the free ftp would make a difference? I would have to download that. Or I have an FTP program I could play with, I will try that meanwhile.

This is for improvements I will be making down the road a bit, so no rush. I guess this is really more of a storage tab question now :/

Thanks!
Norma

I used CC's direct ftp to add the font to my storage file on S-drive. And has far as what's allowed.

You you go back to the upload area, you will see a link just below the "Choose File" button that says "
Supported Extensions". If you click that, it will tell you what file extensions are allowed through the web interface.

Images: .gif, .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .bmp, .ico, .tiff, .tif
Web: .html, .htm, .js, .css, .txt, .swf, .fla, .zip, .xml

I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

I did see that list Rolly, but was not sure if there have been additions to it since. I guess I will have to mess around with the zip file sometime down the road. I think it would be worth it.
Scott mentions a 'Supported Extensions' link. I am not seeing that anywhere on my Storage > Upload Files page.

On another subject ~ I know I am trying to do things that are beyond my ability :|
I have a very long Category page with information. Everyone says write Original Content! So I wrote it, but now with he categories added, the page is super long.
I can index it with 'jump to' links on the top of the page. But I would really like to condense / expand the text to make it more user friendly. As seen as: read more..... When you click the text expands, click again & it contracts.

Research seems to indicate that this is Javascript and I am not sure it would work in SCCPro. But just in case anyone has dealt with this issue before, I thought I would ask if anyone has code that might accomplish this. But I am guessing it could not be added with the HTML tool.

Thanks again for the help,
Norma

Just happened to think > another option to a super long Categories page is to go to :
Shop Settings>Your Shop> Categories Page and click [ only ] Show List of Categories.

That takes all category informational text off this page and leaves it on the individual category pages.

I have built a clickable list index on this page. It links into the pages of the site in addition to the main menu. That shortens the page a great deal and the info is still available for users.
