Greetings,
I am using the trial version of Shopping Cart Creator Pro (build 3863). When I try to publish my site I get an error message telling me "Could not update your store inventory" and that :This URL should match the URL and remote folder you have entered in the Server tab of the Shop Settings window"...
In the Shop Settings window on the general tab for my URL I have entered "http://www.abc.com/shop/" however in the server settings the server is actually "ftp://www.abc.com/shop/". When I try to publish my site I get the message "An error occurred while uploading".
Am I entering the correct URL's? My server is running Apache 2.2.3. Are there settings that I need to make sure the shop folder is set to?
Thanks,

Error Publishing shopping cart - Post...
Hiya David,
Looks like the shop URL is correct as long as you're putting it in the Inventory tab of the Your Shop tab:
http://www.abc.com/shop/
Try putting this in the server box:
abc.com
and this in the remote folder box:
/public_html/shop (this one might vary depending on if your server requires it to be public_html or www or whatever so you may need to check your server to know for sure which one, but try them both)

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
This is what I entered for the remote folder and it uploaded!!
/abc.com/shop/
I am the administrator for several sites and found in testing things what I originally entered above worked on one site but not for the others so the problem does not lie with the software but in getting the remote folder correctly identified depending on what server is being used at the "other" end...
May you and yours have a Wonderful Holiday Season!

You're quite welcome David, glad it worked for you and yes that is half the issues with uploading in the programs (all of them mostly) is that we have to figure out what goes in that remote area for uploading. Once we know how our servers require it, it usually works pretty slick. Happy Holidays to you and yours also
