Hi, not sure if this has been asked before, I did try to look a few weeks back but couldn't find anything....
Shopping Cart Creator Pro - great piece of software and it's made life easy for me, trouble is I'm listing more and more products now where there are multiple versions of the same product but with a slightly different size etc.
I really could do with drop down menus where the customer selected a product and then from a drop down menu picked the size etc for that product.
At the moment I have a single product and I have to list sometimes 16 different variations of the same product, ideally I'd like to be able to list that one product and then the customer selects one of the variants of that product from a drop down.
SCCP is turning from absolutely fit for purpose towards being unwieldly.... any advice would be gratefully received.
Cheers
Paul

Hiya paulski,

You can create Optional Fields to handle this situation very nicely. Just create the main product and then create up to 5 different optional fields for that product. Optional fields basically allow you to add different sizes, colors, pricing, etc. For the pricing just add the difference for the option so make sure the least expensive one is your main product then add amounts to the optional fields to make up the difference and the program will automatically add the 2 prices together to give the full amount for any optional fields that have higher prices.

Works pretty slick and you can have pretty much an unlimited number of options in each field and up to 5 different Optional Fields which makes it pretty versatile. Hope that helps and hollar if you need assistance with it :)

P.S. Also be sure to check the require box so that people are required to use the optional fields if there are options that "need" to be chosen.

P.S.S. This "does" create these options in drop down boxes for you automatically :)
