Do all Themes work with SCC Pro?

I wondered if all the themes in the Theme Store work in SCC Pro, or are some only able to work with SCC?

In particular, I'm looking at Fleur-de-Lis - Shopping Cart Creator Theme.

I'm not fond of the dark blue, so are the themes also modifiable in SCD Pro? Does anyone know if it's 1024px or 800px? I'd prefer a theme that would stretch out to fit the more modern widescreen resolution screens.

Thanks. :)

You have me stumped there. I have just looked at the themes and there is no mention of them being ok for the SCC Pro. I wonder if someone else can come in with a definite answer on this one.

As to whether you can make changes in the designer, I certainly made some drastic changes of my own to a set theme so I assume you would be able to do that to your chosen theme too as you talk about SCD Pro.

I am sorry that this is all a bit vague, but we may have to wait until someone from the CC team drops by with more specific answers for you.

According to Scott a few days ago, he said that all the themes were being updated (I haven't looked to see if they have been or not yet) so that they will include both Basic and Pro versions in the download for each one. Maybe we can get a confirmation from him or the team as to if this is already updated or not.

Just updating that they were all updated on Oct. 12, so I'm going to "assume" that both are in there.

@Bren: If you are thinking to purchase one, and if you do this and you download it and it doesn't have a Pro version in it yet, don't worry it will soon. Themes are just like the software, updates happen any time there's any major changes to code systems, program updates etc. and you get free updates on the themes also when they do just like the other software. So... in short, give it a shot and if it's not there yet it will be very soon, but I'm thinking they did them all already.

Thanks guys. Appreciate all the information. :)

I've been working on my current theme, and I'm still looking at it going "ummm", so I'm not sure if I like it or not. I wish you could get a better look at the themes for sale!

Anyway, will have another look through them and see if something else takes my fancy. I do like the one I mentioned the best, but unsure if it's 800px. I don't want 800px. :(

If it's any help Bren, I have 10 of the SCC themes from the CC shop (unfortunately none are the one you're interested in, but I'm thinking to get that one also as it looks pretty cool too), and I've just updated a couple minutes ago and all had either Both sizes for both the Pro and the Basic versions, OR they had only the larger size for both versions. None of them had only the 800 px size at all. Now I can't guarantee that none of them will have only that size, but odds are pretty good if the 10 I have are either larger ones or both sizes :)

Hope that helps :)

I have the Fleur-de-Lis theme and it comes with both 1024px and 800px widths.

Thanks again guys.

Steven, as you have the template, does the banner fill the whole top space on any size PC screen?

I'm trying to get away from the boxed up look. If you have a site built with the template, I'd really be interested in seeing it.

Otherwise, I'm still a bit undecided on what I'm already working on and don't want to make too many changes to my site as it's still quite a new change to CC as it is. And hope CC may bring out some new templates that I can't resist. :D
