Hi. I have a site I am creating that has to do with photos and would like to disable the right click and saving the photos from my site. Is there any way to do this? If not I will have to add watermarks to all the pics.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Putting them in as a photogallery helps, even if you just have one photo in each gallery, and it can watermark them automatically

And if you add a big background with lots of text etc, using print option prints out the whole page background and all with a small version of picture

Watermarking them is the only way your going to keep users from getting your original images. If their on the internet their available. Even if they do take them it won't be worth the hours of Photoshop work to try to remove the mark.:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

You cannot disable right click. The only person you're fooling, is yourself. :)

Well now Tom let's be fair about it... you "can" actually disable the right click, but not all browsers recognize it. In your defense though, even if you could disable it on all browsers, anyone with a lick of knowledge to check the source code will get around it anyways lol. I could see it's use for the novice web surfer, but most people that are shopping for images are not novices and will know how to get around that disability without too much difficulty.

That is just about any young person on the planet. Only the old farts don't know about such things. So you are keeping the honest honest, just like gun control.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
