Different Countries, Different...
I would like to be able to have different shipping methods for different countries. For example, in the United States I'd like to offer UPS Ground, UPS 3 Day, UPS 2nd Day. In Canada I'd like to only offer USPS International. Is there a way to set that up? I've gone through the manual and have tried to play around with the Shipping Options but I haven't been able to do it.
Thanks.
Thanks.
You can define multiple shipping options but you cannot have it organized by country like that. UPS Ground for example would apply to all countries.

You can add a message to the checkout page as to which methods are available for International. They could still ignore it of course....

Another thing you can do is add the restrictions to the name of the shipping method. In other words:
UPS Ground 3 day - US ONLY
UPS Ground 2 day - US ONLY
etc. and then add a comment to the page that tells them to be sure they choose the correct one to not delay their order. Puts the responsibility into their hands for whether or not their order gets delayed due to having to adjust shipping prices etc. This should work pretty good with the new Pro version which now gives us the ability to force the choice so they have to make a choice where before in the Basic they didn't have to and could default to the wrong one.

Using the "Weight" based shipping options, yes you can!

Kitty... as Scott says, using the weight method it works brilliantly. I have managed to set up options for all the world, and have also added options for priority mail, registered mail... and I could have added more, but just wanted to keep things as simple as possible, but still offer a good coverage of international mailing differences.
Thanks! Another plus!
Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
