Hiya Nadine,

I have absolutely no idea what you're trying to say/do here. When someone goes to your cart, if there are options to choose it's a drop down menu. You choose the one you want and click the add to cart and it adds it. I just did it on your site, choose one in the middle and when it took me to the cart it had that one in there with the Optional Field showing the product line as well.

There are no "pages" for the optional fields, they are just extra choices to choose on that product you are viewing only. You cannot put optional fields in for things you have separate products of and connect them, they are seen as totally separate entities, so if that's anything close to what you're saying then that's the deal there. You can do "either" optional fields "or" a separate product. If you do both, then the cart treats them as separate products either way.

I think one other thing you may be missing on your Optional Fields is to make them required. By doing that it will put something like "Choose One" into the top choice and it won't let them hit the Add to Cart button (well the button won't work that is) until they make a choice. That is most likely what you're after there.

sorry for my fuzzy question :/

if you go to this link, and click on the ADD TO CART button, then you add the FIRST item in the options, if you click on the pic and go to the page, then you have the drop down menu.

It will frustrate customers to add something they didn't choose.-- there are 8 choices but on that page adding to cart only adds the first one.

I see what you mean. I still think that setting the Optional Field as required should fix that and should make it open the page? Did you try that? Let me know if it was already set, or let me know when you've changed it to be required on the optional fields and then I'll try it again and see what happens. There is no way to remove that from the list of products pages, but with a choice required it shouldn't automatically set the first one, because the first one will not be a real choice. Try that and see if it works.
