When I upload the new shop, then go to the website to look at it, I get the following error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting ']' in /homepages/38/d97062229/htdocs/friends/shop/ccdata/data/data.php on line 172

What's wrong?

Thanks!

There are 2 possibilities:

1. Your server does not meet the minimum requirements:
http://www.islandparks.org/shop/ccdata/ … ertest.php

2. The upload is just corrupt. You could try deleting the shop folder and then re-upload again and see if that helps.

OK, tried deleting the contents of the Shop folder and re-uploading. Same problem. The test script runs by so fast that the only way I could capture it was to print it before it crashes. THe script runs fine til it reaches the "Connectivity with PayPal" line. Then it trips over to the error msg I sent earlier.
I cut and pasted the script that I printed below. Does anything jump out?

CoffeeCup Shopping Cart Server Validator for PRO version.
Server Configuration
Is this the correct url of this site: "www.islandparks.org"? If not, there might be a problem
connecting to payment gateways.
Web server software: Apache
PHP seems to be installed as CGI.
Guest operating system: Linux.
PHP Version
OK - installed version of PHP on this server is: 4.4.9
(hmmm, found PATH ^TRANSLATED; settings that on rare occasions were an indication of
problems).
PHP Extensions
OK -found all PHP features needed to run the cart scripts.
Session Data
OK - successfully wrote and read session data.

What I would suggest is have 1&1 upgrade your PHP to 5.2 or higher and see if that helps. I think you can even do that yourself through your hosting control panel.

Upgraded PHP to 5 (1&1 control panel lets you ;pick just "4" or "5" without .rev options). Same problem.

Just scrolled thru the upload script. The only error is one of the firts lines of the script and says"

"an error while uploading ftp://ftp.islandparks.org//Program Files (x86)/COffee Cup Software/Shopping Cart Creator Pro/mypassword@ftp.islandparks.org:21"

I replaced my actual password in the above string with "mypassword".

Any further advice. This is SO frustrating!

Are you publishing with the software or uploading manually? When I go to http://www.islandparks.org/shop/ccdata/ … ertest.php it immediately goes to an error for me.

I would suggest opening support ticket Sharon. We are going to need a lot more information. Please send us a zip file of your entire shop and if you don't mind, FTP access and we will see what we can do for you. We close in 3 hours for the holiday, so if you hurry, we can look into it today.
