Photo Gallery 6.0 is flash based not HTML5. But you can still use it in your shop.;)

It does to S-Drive as of now. I'm thinking CC will make a manual export method available to your own server just as the new form builder does. Making it work in S-Drive is a fast reliable test bed to work out all the kinks so it works flawlessly when they add the export method. This delay will save everybody a lot of time and headaches in the long run. I know it's hard to wait on. Maybe Scott will chime in and give us the low down on a potential schedule and intent to allow manual export of a gallery to your own server. :)

Eric, so what does this mean " Photo Gallery has traditionally used Flash for smooth, awesome-looking galleries. But version 6.0 gives you the power to build HTML-powered galleries, too, with S-Drive."

You know i no nothing, but this implies it beats the flash problem ???

Nope, if we want the html version of the gallery we are kinda forced to do it on SDrive.
I cannot tell that to a client ....that's why i'm dissapointed.
i want the whole site on one hosting , not divided .
I really thought the new photogallery was going to have html5 or jquery export like
many other slideshow galleries out there, but ...i want to use CoffeeCup software !

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
