Can I Insert An Image Into My SCCP...

I've searched for hours trying to figure this out and can't find a thing.

I want to insert an image into the text of my Shop Home page. MOST HTML editors have an Insert Image option - but not SCCP. I just want to insert a simple image, with the text of my Shop Home wrapped around it.

Can this be done...and why is it not an option in the Shop Home HTML editor?

Thanks in advance...

It all depends on where your trying to place it. If you want it in the middle of your product page with all the description text you'll want to hand code the image using standard html and css.
Take a look at my shop for a bunch of ideas on what can be done with additional content and customizations.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Believe me Dude, I looked at ALL of your "Tips & Tricks" - and what I need to do is not there. I want to insert an image in the "Spotlight Area", below the page title and above the Categories/Products section. I could hand code it in IF I had access to the HTML markup for that section.

And again, I don't understand why SCCP doesn't allow the insert of images into the Home, Categories, and Cart pages. Hell, even this forum has an Image Insert button in the toolbar just above the "What's on your mind" text. Just venting.

If anybody can steer me in the right direction...or if it's not possible at all...please let me know. Is there an Advanced HTML Editor module or add-on for SCCP?

Thanks!

You should be able to edit any of the SCCP pages using a standard text editor or HTML editor. I know a lot of the files created are php rather than HTML but it's all still just coding. Use cc HTMLEditor and load up the page you want to edit and go to town. (If you know how to code - I don't, just saying). Trick, I guess, is figuring out which file to edit. Eric may be able to help you with that.

Keep in mind, any page you edit outside the SCCP or SCDP programs will be overwritten if you make a change to the cart and publish it again. So keep a backup file with your changes so you can do it all again if you make any changes.

That may get a little troublesome depending on how often you change your shop...
