If you've been doing e-commerce for a while then you know that there are some countries that are very corrupt, and they look for ways to rip you off. Most of the better carts have a way to prevent this by blocking these countries from ordering from the cart. How do we block these countries with SCCP?

You would actually do that at the merchant level. Alternatively, you can use our Website Access Manager program to stop these countries from even viewing your shop through htaccess.

Thanks Scott! I'll look into Website Access Manager. Does the Coffeecup htaccess manual also show how to do this?

Sure can. You just need to know the IP blocks of the country and you can block them out.

Thanks! I have the manual but I may just buy the program anyway.

I found this site that even formats for you what the code for the htaccess file should be;

I'm looking at this and never thought of the scammers, I think this is an important thread for anyone who are new into ecommerce.
I for one have got the ip's of countries I want to block, the only problem is that, it gives lots and lots of ip adresses, even for one country, I do own website access manager, and wondering if there would be a way of copying and pasting just the whole lot, rather than doing each ip individually as this would take an age in itself.
