I looked at that in my shop and it only sets up the home link on the page but my header won't be linked.

Is there any chance i could have added the link to the image some how before making it the banner in SCCP

I cant think of any other way i could have done it.

I think what's happening hear is that John has strictly used SCCP to create his site and the http://website.com/shop/home.php is a page within the shop itself. I tried this but my banner isn't linked. SCCP still puts the link in the navigation bar. There might be something I'm missing but I never heard CC say that an update would allow this action. It's definitely being created with the app unless he hacked every page. I'm still playing around with various combinations to get my header linked but so far nothing has worked.

If I was advanced enough to hack my pages, I'd hack that banner to point to where I want it to go

I use the Pages tool so that setting (Your Shop, Pages) is not selected to Link to anything and I'd be afraid to try it for fear of losing the pages I set up with the Pages tool.

I hope what I just wrote makes sense. Not sure...

If you tick the box (very technical here) and add a url, it will add a new tab to your shop called HOME

(presently you only have shop home) so you end up with two homepages, one in the cart (shop home) one outside the cart.

Getting even more technical ( i am renowned for this ) unticking the box will delete it, and revert everything back the way it was.

I feel like I may have tried that once and lost the pages that I created with Pages Tool (which I currently use) so I have a little fear about trying that because ticking "Link to" will untick "Use Pages tool".

Am I off?

You just have to re tick use shop home settings above, and it all reverts back again

YES it changes what else is ticked , But nothing ever gets deleted, unless you ask it to

Ok, just tried and when I ticked "link to", I lost a page that I had called "Press" (had some press for my products but I have the html saved elsewhere). Then when I ticked "Use Pages tool" again, it created a new blank page called "Home".

Not needing two pages called "Home", I changed the second page back to Press and it's fine but then when I tried to add another page called Customer Care, it placed it as a submenu under Press.

By the way, now the banner points to the shop home which is good, now I just need to figure out how to get the Customer Care page out from under the Press page.
