I have a major glitch going on with the drop down menus on the shop pages. For some reason you can no longer select any of the links. The menu will drop down but will disappear when you try to select a link with the mouse. The Navigation Submenu Properties area in SCDP is completely greyed out and I cannot change any properties. Any idea what's going on?
Note to self: make a backup copy before making changes

This has been noticed in another thread when I viewed a CCSC site using IE8 (maybe it was your post). It acts like some dhtml menus I've seen in the past that are very particular where the mouse is on the menu to present or select items.

You should submit a ticket so CC can work this out since this is a major issue with a shopping cart. I know I would last about ten seconds playing with that and move on to another site.

There's been a few post with this same problem. I can get them to stay open if you stay off to the right and mouse down fast. I wonder if it has something to do with the sub menu padding near the top.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Everything was working with no problems until I started using a full logo image for the header. I did have to play around with padding and such so I'll revisit that.
The real worry is that I can't do anything with the properties now since they are all greyed out and not selectable.
I'm off to work now (snow=overtime) but if I can't get this fixed I will be opening a ticket.
Thanks

It seems that I had checked the "Use Navigation Menu Sttings" in "Navigation Submenu Properties-Advanced". I'm not sure what I was thinking - probably that it was going to give the drop-down menus the same look as the regular menu. After clearing the checkbox, things are back to normal.
I will say that sometimes the lack of an explaination for each setting is a bit of a shortcoming in the program. I havn't used the "help PDF" as much as should I guess since I havn't been able to find explainations in the past.
Oh well, it was a learning experience anyway.
