Can anyone explain to me what S-Drive is, think of a description on the side of the box in a shop short to the point giving me and instant understanding.

What I think it is, is a feed on the coffeecup website which is like a blog.

Im loving the idea of this but cant totally get the gist of the benifit.

Kind non attack responses welcome.

Thanks

Karl

-Update: Right ive had a little go and can see the benifit it is a blog, but if anyone would like to explain what is does within the applications I would appreciate it.

Scott, one of the challenges I had the first time I went to that page, is the forest for the trees thing. S-Drive seems to describe 3 different things and use the same name as part of all of them.

Even further confusing, when I see anything in IT with the word drive in it, I think storage.

The page never describes the "forest". Only the trees.

If you go to Support>Support Articles and do a search for S-Drive, there are several articles that give a more detailed explanation.

Ok I don't get it, I may be slow, but I can still win!

I click on the learn more link
http://www.coffeecup.com/sdrive/
but it goes to my s-drive site that says I have nothing published.

Coffeecup is offering to host my website on their servers using s-drive?
What about FTP, email and other services?

Or does s-drive just by pass the FTP service to my current website?

Please just publish a user manual.

Your S-Drive site is at http://tsmc.coffeecup.com Thomas. Right now the only way to publish to S-Drive is with Shopping Cart Creator or Visual Site Designer. Soon we will offer support with Direct FTP. E-mail services we will never offer as it is best to use Gmail for that. ;)

You can also find all sorts of information on S-Drive here at http://www.coffeecup.com/search/?cx=016 … ve&sa=
