I've been on S-Drive for about a month after Ripway.com went dark. I'm still learning all the abilities of this system but the more I learn the better it is. Twitter gives 140 Characters. With Streams linking to Twitter you can write a much longer message and have it linked to from twitter. I can have my site and link my streams into it. Wow. What a great service you are giving. I'm so impressed with S-drive I may stop using PageBreeze as I just downloaded your Free HTML editor to try. I hope I can use the Pagebreeze templates. It's taken a little learning to get it right but your staff has been responsive to my questions and very patient with my ignorance of UNIX which runs your server. Thank you for supporting so well even those of us with free sites and using free Software.

I can't figure out how to use the pagebreeze templates that my web site is based on with your HTML editor. I'm continuing to try to get these crosspolliations to work because much of my web sites general appearance is based on the templates. I like having the general layout already setup admittedly your editor is superior for building from scratch. I have changed my home page to thank coffeecup for hosting me for free and that mention is a link to your web site.. I also have a link to my streams since my twitter doesn't give enough room for complex ideas. I get daily e-mails from networksolutions.com the successors of ripway wanting me to put my web site over there. Their web site building don't work with Mozilla Firefox, or Internet Explorer. I was able to start them with Chrome but it was awkward to say the least. With your set up I can use any HTML editor or even Windows 95's edit and upload the files to your site and see it work. I built my first web site over ten years ago using Windows 95's edit and when I went to prison that web site went from compact and slick to bloated and awkward. They only had 5MBytes for storage of the web site. They may be close to the limit with the software they are using.

I too am starting to warm to S_Drive. I have been asked/fitted with the task of setting up a site for our local Art Society and S_Drive is initially well suited to develop the site and by the society having their own copy of VSD it will be a simple matter for me to teach committee members charged with Newsletter and events to make the changes to the site. Eventually the Webbie plan would suffice nicely.

As I have an account I shall play around with ideas for acceptance then the others can roll with it. So far it is fast to load the site and seems to be able to handle any form of display
