You wouldn't believe what an ordeal this has been! Of course the name transfer has to follow suit and become a big pain in the @$$ as well
I think I'll go back to the Register site and go through everything again ONE MORE TIME. It would be nice if their help pages were available, instead I just get 404 errors.
I'm sure I must have something wrong. Where I entered the A record number for instance.
Find an input box referencing the "@" symbol. This is where you can configure your domain name's "A record." Enter 18.104.22.168 as the record for that field, and don't forget to save!
I didn't see a @ anywhere, just a *, so I put it there
Also, there's no save option, just continue buttons that send me back to the main panel.
Off to have another go at it..........
