I am getting close to uploading my new site to My sdrive and having my domain name transferred to CC. I have always paid my currant host for the renewal of my domain .I will not be hosting my site there anymore and closing out my account. After I transfer the domain to CC will I be renewing the name through CC or continue to renew through my currant host?

You renew your domain name when it's due through who ever it is that is hosting your domain name. You can check out the registrar who hosts your domain at whois.icann.org
