Since it came up in this thread, thought I'd mention that I found a couple work arounds in RLM to "links within a sentence" and "HTML symbols" that Jo Ann mentioned.

For links within a sentence: If I do the URL for the link like this...

www.puppetsandprops.com

... it does NOT work. If I paste in the full URL for the link like this...

http://www.puppetsandprops.com/

... it worked just fine. Don't know why it won't work the first way. That's a head scratcher.:/

For HTML symbols, I find that if I copy the symbol in question ( I just copied it off my old site) and paste it into an RLM text, it works just fine. For instance the copyright symbol at the bottom of my page here was done that way. . .

http://brosepianoservice.com/

When I export, the copyright symbol is already there. And when I make duplicate pages in RLM, the copyright symbol shows up in each new RLM page that I make. Pretty cool. No need to do it the HTML Editor anymore.

Just thought these work arounds might help somebody else.

Thanks for sharing the work around on the copyright, I'll give that a shot too.

For the links though, I think maybe I didn't explain it well. What I'm talking about is adding a link to a paragraph. So if you add a paragraph element, yes you can put the full URL into the paragraph and it will show up as a link but if you want to do the typical code setup so that it isn't the actual URL you see but text you assign to the link, that you cannot do. In other words this cannot be done within the program yet:

<a href="http://domain.com/file.hmtl" title="title here">TEXT YOU SEE ON THE PAGE</a>

And putting a paragraph and a link element next to each other doesn't work well either to try to do this.
There is the Link button on the text edit mode screen, but it doesn't work. Rumor has it that this is going to be fixed in the next update, but we'll see :)
Hopefully that explains it better :)

Perhaps it was me that is not explaining very well. See this test page where I did a link within a paragraph with RLMP . . .

http://www.brosepianoservice.com/test-linked-text.html

The link is in the purple colored paragraph, in the first sentence, where it says Puppets and Props in white color. That I did in RLMP with the link button in the text edit mode screen.

I did run into a different snag however. When I tried to change the text from blue to white, I could not type in, or paste in, the hex color numbers/letters. RLMP won't let me for some reason. I can only use the left hand box and drag the little circle to change the color. Not just linked text, but any text for that matter. I wonder if anyone else is having that problem?

Ahh ok, so then the issue is most likely with the Mac version that isn't working right, as I'm not the only one reported that the links editor wasn't working. Thanks for clarifying that.

As for the editing of the colors and sizes and such, yes it's messed up as well for most people. For me on my Mac there's also the issue with not being able to edit anything in the main settings if I've edited it size wise in the text editor as well. Something's just not quite right with the editor yet I guess. :)

Yeah, I'm on Windows 8.1. I don't have any trouble with changing text size, bold, italics, etc. That all works fine. Just changing colors. I have experienced some goofiness with going back and forth between the text editor and the main settings that you mentioned, but mostly able to deal with that with no problem.

Still, all in all, RLMP is an awesome program, and once these and a few other somewhat smaller issues get worked out it will be more than awesome. There is no way I'd be attempting to do my new responsive site without it!

Maybe they'll have some more time to work on these things after RSD gets released. :)

Thanks Jo Ann! That helps to know that others are having the same issues.
