Hey guys and gals,

I just thought i would share a website that I have successfully converted from VSD to Responsive Layout Maker Pro. This tool is very powerful, best on the market IMO.

Steve, it would be interesting to know how long time the transformation/building the new site took.

And yes, it came out very nicely! :)

NIce Job Steve, shows those VSD users that it's possible to mimic their sites and make them nicer for sure.

@Inger: Whatever Steve says add another month on to that for newbieness :P

Well time is hard to measure because I really didn't get to sit down for long periods of time. I would say between building the layout, adjusting the custom.css, and working with the client on layout changes about 4 days. By days I mean a few hours a night over 4 days.

Hahaha that is funny! Yes it would take new users quite a bit longer. My best advice is to at least grab the trial version of RLMP and give it a test drive. If you are serious about converting from VSD and you are waiting for RSD to come out, you really should get RLMP. Start that learning curve now so you can hit the ground running when it does come out.

It took me some time to master the program but once you get the hang of it you can really pump out the pages.

I also used Menu Builder to produce the navigation.

@ JoAnn: I regard myself as something half-way between newbie and intermediate when it comes to RLMP, so 2 weeks added for me then ;)
Of course someone might chime in and say I should practise more to get up to speed, but I have so much to do with sites at the time being, I don't know where my head is. (And of course, that makes another reason why I should get up to speed with RLM...) :P It is sitting down learning something that steals my time, I guess. Age takes its toll...

Very nice Steve.
It's not to bad to do especially since you already have a site design to work with starting out.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

examples of what can be accomplished in VSD.

Nice transition, Steve. Looks like you only had to create one significant break point.

Inger, Don't let your age stop you. This program is easier to use than I thought it was going to be. A year ago, I didn't even know a div tag was. But that happens if you get too Dreamweavereee.
