I'm not too sure where to put this, so please free to put it where you want Scott, but since we are on about the RLM I just thought do web designers really need these type of tools, do we really need Responsive design, so when I'm not too sure about something I do surveys among friends, family etc etc on Facebook. All I said was put P for Portrait and L for Landscape as to get as many responses as possible and that's what happened it proved to be quite popular with varying arguments. I put how do you view your mobile devices for the net, through Smartphone and Tablet. I did this because I don't like touchscreens, I never have so I don't have a smart mobile phone, or cell phone as Americans call it (cell phone what's all that about ) I just have a mobile phone that does the job. Also I don't have a tablet, had one give it to my wife. After I put the graph up below which tells us a resounding yes we need programs like the RLM esp and this is important. As you see the results of the graph, the arguments started like I should of put up mobile v tablet etc etc, so although 76% said yes we view in portrait mode (so therefore we need responsive programs) some on reflection said I use portrait on the mobile and landscape on the ipad etc. This does muddy things a tab, however what is very clear is we need stuff for smart phone devices this is now essential for Web Designers/Developers

Yeah I thought so, I didn't think it would be as many as 76% but if that's what the masses are saying. It is quite interesting I've always found about surveys and polls, people love them. Me and my wife both share an illness, it's on my link and I wanted 50 people to do a poll for me, it was to involve the medical profession, but only sufferers have to do the poll. 330 odd came forward in a short period of time and even now people ask if they can take part. You really can ascertain people's viewpoint on how they feel about certain issues.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
