What is "Responsive Site Designer", is it different to "Responsive Layout Maker Pro"?

I would agree wholeheartedly with Donna you guys have fallen into the trap that everybody falls into when writing up instructions on how to use their latest and greatest product. Go find someone who knows nothing and tell them how to use it.

We do not want an "idiots guide" because their are no idiots. These so called idiots are people like me and you who do not know or have not been told about the subject matter.

I like the concept of the product and have told my business colleagues, customers and friends about it and I am persevering but a simple user guide would be appreciated and in the past Coffee Cup has been good at support.

Hi Roger welcome to the forums,

Yes the Responsive Site Designer is a different product all together. That software will be targeted at more the Visual Site Designer crowd.

That being said RLMP has an incredible large collection of how to's straight from CC themselves. There are several of us in the forums that have been using this product for a little while now and are glad to help answer any questions you may have.

Okay, so basically, Responsive Layout Pro requires a fair bit of html knowledge, is what I'm understanding. And a new program called Responsive Site Designer is coming out? Which is workable for those who are not coders? I have built a site using only html before, but hated it. So I'm guessing I could figure out RLP, but when I read the instructions I find I don't know what half the terms mean, and so I'd have to google the meaning of each term in order to know what was being said, and not sure I'd understand it even then.

I think I could spend a month just studying the terms to understand the instructions.

Just so you know, I'm not being cranky here. Just admitting my own lack of understanding of terms that CC uses in their instructions.

So I guess, I'm waiting for a version of vsd that creates a responsive website, and I'm guessing RSD is going to be that???
Thanks to everyone at Coffee Cup. I really do love your products.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
