Bug with tooltip dropdown on smaller...

I'm having a problem getting the sub grid column that I'm trying to work on in a project because the sub-grid column that I'm working on is placed under another sub grid column and the tooltip goes to the top left where it is not referencing the one underneath. Let me see if I can clarify this a bit:

1. Create a page with a sub grid (mines in the header) where you have 2 sub grid columns side by side. I have left sub grid column at 8 spans and right sub grid column at 4 spans.

2. Put an image in the left sub grid column ratio 5 x 3 with a max width of 447 px.

3. Put 3 lines of text in the right hand sub grid column approx. 14 or 16 px size.

4. I keep them side by side until about half way down the slider, approx. 599px breakpoint where I then change them both to 12 spans and the right sub grid column is going under the left sub grid column.

Now here's where the issue is. I need to edit some settings in the bottom sub grid column (that used to be the right hand one). I can get to the text as I can double click it if I need to edit it that badly, but I cannot get it to select the sub grid column itself because the tooltip dropdown that is used to choose the element you want to edit or select, shows up in the top left area of the window below the slider area. Of course if I go up there and try to change it it changes to the sub grid that is on the top with the image in it rather than the bottom one.

I cannot get the sub grid column to highlight or select in any way that I try. I have even tried pushing the slider back out where the sub grid columns are side by side and selecting it then, but when I slide it back in it changes to the full sub grid rather than keeping the selection on the sub grid column.

I'm at a loss here as to how to get this sub grid column selected so if there's anything I'm missing here please let me know, but either way I'm pretty sure that the tooltip dropdown should at some point be showing up by that sub grid column as well as the top one.

Oh I have also tried putting the mouse over the text in that bottom sub grid column and right clicking and going to the select menu there and choosing the sub grid column, but that also is selecting the full sub grid as well.

Hope that explains it well enough.

Can we have a link?;)
How about using a container?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

I'll try seeing if a container makes any difference or not, shouldn't have to put it in a container though since it's just a simple image on one side and text on the other, container to me would be overkill for this. I will definitely try it though and see if that matters for the dropdown to show up in the right place.

I don't have it uploaded yet and I don't think that part would matter since the issue is with the program itself rather than the output of the site. :)

I followed your instructions and still get the option to select the column grid in the menu.

Keep in mind I'm on a Mac which may make a difference on what does and doesn't happen. Here's a screenshot to show you exactly what I mean. I've tried clicking and mousing over the lower part of that area all over the place and I cannot get it ti bring up the dropdown other than on the top left as you see it in the screenshot which you cannot access the sub grid column setting for the bottom one, and it doesn't select the top one if you choose the sub grid column either it selects the entire subgrid. I can click in the top area and get the top sub grid column without any problems though, cannot do that for the bottom one at all.

It must be the mac version as I have full access to the menu and am able to select anything in it for every element on the page.
