Using exported html in web page -...

I'm using RED for Business to produce a newsletter for a Lions club. The exported html is emailed, works very well, no reported problems.

The same exported html is used to display the newsletter in a web page, seen here: http://genevaexcelsiorlions.com/aboutus/bulletins/. It was working quite well until a month ago; seems the way Safari and Chrome render the html has changed. Two problems have popped up:

1. Top of the newsletter "Volume 67, No. etc" column width is not full and should be flush right.
2. Bottom of newsletter, in blue band, Facebook and Twitter logos are reduced to a very small size.

Not real sure what is going on; any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks, Lyle Workman

Additional description of problem:

1. In item 1 above, the column widths are not rendering correctly; width on desktop should be 335 px or 6 columns wide.
2. Similar problem in item 2; column width is not correct, should be approx. 209 px wide or 4 columns on desktop.

Should also mention problem browsers are on MAC; problem seems ok on PC.

Thanks, Lyle Worikman

Hi Lyle,
Looks like your using an iframe and that is narrowing up your html display.
Looks good here.

I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Eric: Thanks for taking a look.

1. Item 1 seems to be displaying correctly. I did edit the html to remove some asterisks within the code; not sure if that was the problem. I'll know on next export.

2. The footer is still not displaying correctly, even outside the iframe. Could be I have not upgraded to Sierra? Currently have:
El Capitan 10.11.6
Safari Version 10.0 (11602.1.50.0.10); not displaying correctly
Chrome Version 10.0 (11602.1.50.0.10); not displaying correctly
Firefox 49.0.1; not displaying correctly; this browser just updated to 49 but was displaying correctly before update

I believe this is pointing to a browser rendering change of some type, but I could be wrong. Not sure if there is anything you can do to fix the display issue.

Thanks, Lyle Workman

I've done some fishing and found errors in the exported html. Errant asterisks were edited out the following exported html:

*width:335px; affected the column width in problem 1
*width:223px; affected the column width in problem 2 in two places
*width:29px; affected the sizing of the Facebook logo in problem 2
*width:35px; affected the sizing of the Twitter logo in problem 2

Bulletin on page is now displaying properly in most browsers; the Facebook & Twitter logos are not center within the column on Firefox on Mac but are sized correctly.

Hopefully this info may help another user; knowledge of css and html is quite important with this issue. Hopefully, the export quality(?) will improve with updates.

Thanks, Lyle Workman
