Hello - I read that it is possible, but how do you actually add images to the generated emails when not using the $9 option?
I've added an image placeholder in RED and uploaded a relevant image to an otherwise blank webpage.
However, when the email is received, a blank placeholder is visible asking the user to right click and download the image.
Is this the only option? Can't the images automatically open with the email?
Incidentally, when I right click the placeholder to download the image, it doesn't work.
Yet, simply clicking the placeholder does take me to the online webpage where the image is placed.

Hello.
Yes. But, how do I upload them to you? Will I need to zip the file? What email address do I send it to?
Thanks

Just place them on the web and post a link.

For that image, you are linking to http://www.studioenergy.co.uk/red/logo1.html
That is not a URL to an image. That is a URL to an HTML page. The correct URL is http://www.studioenergy.co.uk/red/Musical%20Notes.jpg
I would also recommend you correct that file name because using spaces in file names can cause other problems.

Hello
OK - I checked the link path and copied your suggestion. Then, pasted into RED.
It's still not working. I see exactly the same problem.
There is a blank rectangle that has a message saying the reader must right click to download the image before it can be viewed.
However, when I do that, it still does not display and the same error message remains.

That is correct. Most email clients block images by default.
However, when I do that, it still does not display and the same error message remains.
Can you upload your project file again so we can look over the settings?

Hello - yes, I've uploaded the file to the same page link again.
Thanks.
