Create email template for local use...

Is it possible, using RED, to create an email template that I can save in my local Thunderbird application and have all images/content stored on my local machine so that when I send the email, there is no remote content that has to be approved-to-show by the recipient? And this would need to include - or rather, exclude as well - any other 3rd party remote things, like Google fonts or anything that Coffeecup might attach. I hope this is clear. I searched and couldn't find a direct answer to this question. Thanks...

The only way would be to setup you local machine as a server with a fix ip and give users access to it.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

OK... thanks. I'm able to strip remote content and replace images manually but it's a real pain and sort of trial and error. It's nice to be able to create a responsive email with attached images occasionally so that the recipient doesn't get the load content option but I know there are caveats to this as such as the greater likelihood of spam filtering and longer send and load times. But I'm usually dealing with very lightweight image content.

Email security has become a priority for email clients these days. It sure has forced a different design of emails.

Interesting.. it seems if I host my images on my own server - not local, but where I host my websites - my recipients don't get the remote content flag. I'll be frank, (even though my name is Gary) I'm deliberating on RED right now.. comparison shopping. It's definitely got a great editor. But does it really require a 3rd party EMSP for practical usage?
From the product page:
"Yes, RED does send emails...intended for content approval, and link or email client testing. For sending, RED can be connected to a personal or business email account such as Gmail, or an SMTP server."
Can RED use my existing email server that I use with my hosting account and send out to a mailing list in Thunderbird? ...thus eliminating the need for a 3rd party EMSP?

Yes, you can send RED email from your own host. I use some php scripts.
