Hi all
Long time owner of old CC HTML Editor. Loved it. Still prefer code view over Design view, but....RSD is too good to pass up. So I'm looking through the site doing the learning curve on RSD and I see RCS. Also intriguing.
My first thought is something pointed at doing content for Slideshare. But have read not even a whiff of that URL.

Then I'm thinking ... must be powerpoint but online. This looks a little closer, but...the examples I look at all seem to be trying to force a different UI onto a web page with not such good results. So far anyway.
Has anyone done this for content aimed at Slideshare? Is RCS "really just" website/pages with different UI elements?
Where is the big picture "intro to the world" article for this software? I confess to being confused (but interested) in what this solves/advances.......
My cup could always use a bit more.....coffee.

Don't know anything about Slideshare, but the CC Responsive Slider is for creating just that; sliders/slideshows. Have you not noticed sliders on websites? They're quite common.

RCS let's you create responsive content, even if you're not familiar with responsive design. It also lets you include actual text and links within the slides. Not all slideshows/sliders have those features.

Especially on smaller screens, it;s a great way to keep a lot of content within the top area/visible screen area, rather than having to go to separate pages or scroll alot.
Slideshows can provide an overview of site content/sections, show off photography/art examples, lead viewers through tutorials, display properties/rooms on real estate sites...

The last paragraph of the article paintbrush mentioned helped. That being that slide shows are meant for inclusion as content in a website and not so much as a stand alone piece. The NZ photographer's site helped as well. Understated and nicely done. The slide piece is part of the theme, an understudy not calling attention to itself.

I hope you're feeling inspired now. Sliders provide alot of opportunity.
