Have a few questions on this technique and wanted to see if the forum has played with this

When making a full I think all the the settings - width, height, max width and max height - are all set to none. But when I place a picture it stops at 1600 wide (the max of the photo). How can I complete the full width?

When I look at competitors slideshows that are full screen width it seems that their native pics are a lot smaller files than mine (if I am looking at the correct things) and they go full width with an acceptable quality resolution. Is everybody using 72 dpi? What image size (pixels h x w) are you using?

Thanks guiys!

Wow - plenty of looks and a couple of posts in the forum but no thoughts on this one?

Did you make sure all elements are set to 100%?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Yes - container - slideshow - slide - element

It still stops on the original size of the picture.

I played with the template (rembrandt) and they used it as a background for the individual slide. That seems to work but its odd. Haven't figured out how the overlaying elements work exactly. Also it seems to auto size itself without breakpoints.

You don't need break point to auto size elements. You need to work with % so elements don't have a fixed size.

Nice - important safety tip!

Anything else along those lines?

Thanks!

Break points are for when your site does something you don't like and elements go out of position or your layout "Breaks" thus the term break points. You can use them as much as needed but try to keep your designs simple at first to avoid adding a lot of break points. A solid design won't need many if you think ahead a little.
