Hopefully, it will have the long awaited addition of user input for product customization, coupon codes for discounts and be SEO friendly with the URL's and better image name management.

Seeing you write "pretty sure" does not get my hopes up. :(

Will each responsive app be available for both OSX and Windows? You have some great apps but I don't like having to fire up Parallels if I don't have to . Please advise.

Scott, Hi!

You say "I am pretty sure that Shopping Cart will get the responsive treatment as well once Layout Maker and Designer are released."

What do you mean by 'Designer'? Is that VSD or some new program??

Responsive Site Designer. It will be a new program with all the power of VSD and our Editor all in one.

Will it require sites made via VSD to be redone or will it be compatible with VSD? I am in the process of redsigning my site made via VSD and am wondering if I should wait.

Also, is Designer immeninent (next week or two) or is it many months away??

Wait for it! VSD will not be compatible. This will be an entirely new program. Although it is suppose to be a 'designer' so I'm sure you can drag and drop your graphics and text into it just as you do in VSD.

Not sure when the release date is, but hopefully not to long...

Actually I do believe the plan is to make it compatible with both VSD and HTML Editor so that people with a VSD site will be able to import/export or however they plan to do it so that the sites can be done in the new program. Granted, we won't know if that will for sure be the case until they get that far lol, but that's what the last plan I was aware of was set to be. :)

Thanks Jo Ann.

Scott: Can you weigh in on this one. Will Responsive Site Designer be able to import a VSD file? AND is this something that is happening in the next few weeks or is it months away??

Not weeks or months for sure, might be a year or 2 even, but one can never tell with CoffeeCup, sometimes they go faster than we expect and sometimes slower :P

Most likely not. VSD builds websites based on absolute positioning which is the complete opposite on how responsive design works. Importing a site like that would probably make far more work for you in the long run. Nothing has been fully decided on that just yet so it is a possibility but I cannot guarantee it. ;)

The target date for release is +3 months after the launch of Responsive Layout Maker as RLM has the framework needed for RWD.
