I agree with you Bret, but I was out voted by my team and the forum moderators. :)
We are working on an option to display the posts in either order.

I agree ( as I posted before I found this one) this bottom up stuff is a pain in the ****. Most forums I participate have a button that makes it a user defined preference.

Question? Why would you want to see the first post every time you open a thread and wast valuable time to scroll to what you wanted to see in the first place, which is the latest post.
Out voted is out voted, no switching back now :) Has anyone ever told you, your team is very intelligent.

Hey Robert "Edit:" Bret,
Yaaaa, BUT.....both of you, J.C. and yourself, are out voted :)
It's for the greater good of things this way.
By the way Bret, I have been by your site a few times to see whats going on, quite an interesting and nicely presented site you have there!

Well, great minds think alike :) I'm working on a totally new update for my site, images and everything, all done in php. I hope to have it going by next Christmas :) Was thinking Valentines, but that is creeping up on me fast.

Hey.... who turned my forum upside down :) Took me forever to talk everybody into having the latest post on top and where did it get me? No where :) Bummer!

Since my old posts on this thread have been lost in the ether somewhere, I thought I'd come up with a new picky request.

I've noticed that every time I respond to a thread I automatically get subscribed to it. The default for the "Email me when someone replies" is checked.

Is there some way to uncheck this? I appreciate the subscription when it's a topic I really want to stay on top of, but I'm afraid that it's going to become a hassle really fast.

Alfred didn't talk you guys into that too, did he? ;)
