Try clicking on "File" then "Copy Folder to Program or Drive" then select your flash drive. Now take the flash drive to your new pc and see if it will work.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

The program comes up as if it's starting a brand new database and the same message in a separate box over the window. There are no options other than to create a new database.

Why doesn't the saved pwk file initiate itself when double clicking on it?

Try going to your lockbox directory and copying these two files to the lockbox directory on your new pc.
pw.pwk pwk file
pwdkpr text doc

Sorry Eric...I've been tied up with other things.

I've copied the two files you indicated, placed them in the main directory and still nothing. Same message.

Does the fact that I renamed the standard pwk file to Tim-Sue PW. pwk have anything to do with this glitch?

Try saving the file the same as you did on your old pc then replace those with the ones from the old pc.
