I have pw.pwk ....not pwk.pwk. Did the procedure, Only saw site mapper. Manually went down the string and got to coffee cup folder and I see lock box, site mapper and wev form builder. Lock box has th pw.pwk file that original computer has. also xferred .log & .dat. Opened lock box, no data.

That would mean the file is not in the proper location still.

Hopefully you still have the pw.pwk file somewhere - do a search as this contains all of your data. In my experience the program does not need to be installed formally and I have it installed on a portable apps drive as indicated below...it runs flawlessly from there and on my wifes computer(which I periodically update)...for reference to our passwords.

go to coffecup lockbox directory in programs copy all files to a destination directory on a usb..run lockbox.exe and log in using your name& password...otherwise program asumes you are creating a new file. verify it runs from usb drive. Then create a directory on new computer copy all files to this directory...create shortcut to lockbox.exe on the desktop if you wish or on the start menu....all should work

This probably in not the "official" way but it works

Hope it helps
Vista Tom

Thanks Tom: I actually just reinstalled the program and there was the program with all of my accounts from my old computer. The accounts within groups are not sorted but I can live with that.

Basically the same...am transferring everything to a new pc, starting with Lockbox. Downloaded a fresh copy to the new pc, copied and installed my .pwk file but when trying to open Lockbox I get a box stating:

Database file "C:\PROGRA~2\COFFEE~1\Tim-Sue.pwk' is a invalid TinyDB.

This is a little scary right now, if you know what I mean. Tons of passwords involved.

Can someone please help.

Thanks,
Tim

I would do a "save as" on the old pc to a flash drive of the old setup then open the file from the flash drive on the new pc after installing the new program.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Hi Eric...Nice looking Lab

Okay...went to old pc to open Lockbox and now I get the same thing as the new pc (invalid TinyDB). I went to Windows Explorer and copied the saved pwk, copied it to the new pc and still nothing.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks for the reply,

Tim
