I would like to create an image map that when the pointer goes over an area of the map, a new image for that area appears ( and then goes away when the pointer moves). An example would be I have an image map of different fruit on a table. When the mouse goes over the apple area of the map, the apple turns green. Then when you click on the apple area on the image it goes to the apple info page. I can use the image mapper to get the areas but can not figure out how to the mouse over part. Any help you be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

There's no easy way to do this with an image map. You could do it pretty easily with just CSS. Do you have a url we can look at to see what you have so far?

Thanks Cary. I haven't gotten far enough to create a page yet. Just trying different things to see how to make it work. You say it could easily be done with CSS. How do you do it with CSS?

Thanks
