The IT geniuses at my work recently changed from ftp to sftp over ssh on port 22. Seems straightforward enough... except they injected a long paragraph of crap between the username and password prompts. DirectFTP and Filezilla handle it ok but the HTML Editor's ftp dies on it.

I can live with using DirectFTP but I really prefer being able to ftp within the HTML editor.

Is anyone else having problems with SFTP over SSH in the HTML editor?

I just downloaded the free trial of the HTML editor. My server only allows SFTP and I'm not able to get it to connect. I can authenticate with a key and the error message reports that key authentication is available but the form requires a password. Using password authentication doesn't connect.

Filezilla connects fine on port 22.
