Why Has The Default Install Directory...
Just installed the upgrade but for some reason the default install location (Vista) is now C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\CoffeeCup Software. There is nothing in the Program Directory except for older Coffecup software. Normally only some files placed in the roaming directory but the rest goes in Program Files. I know it possible to change the install location but I was really wondering why the default install location has been changed.
That is actually the location where Microsoft prefers programs to be install now. You will find more and more programs using the APPDATA folder as you can no longer write to the Program Files folder.

I always thought the Roaming directory was for user settings. While the program folder was to protect the main files. Interesting that MS now prefers APPDATA now - I'll have to look that one up. So at least I know everything is Ok. Thanks.
After installation, can I just move the whole Coffee Cup folder elsewhere? My problem with the default install is that it blows my rather lame work enforced profile size (30 MB
) out of the water. I never noticed when I first installed the software because I was in the middle of a large project and suffering from MDS (Messy Desktop Syndrome, not the hematological one).
Now that I'm in a quieter and happier space and have had a chance to clean up a little I see Coffee Cup causing me grief. I would prefer to not have to salvage stuff then uninstall / reinstall if possible.
