OK, I see the text at the bottom of the page. I'll take a closer look tomorrow, it's past midnight here now.

NO!

Is there a simpler way to accomplish this in the CSS?

YES!:)
Matt you really need to get a developer tool for your browser so you can trouble shoot your styling.

So, after a bit of back and forth, I've changed around some code again. Here is the result: http://inger.cybeer.no/stuff/index3.html

Do you mean the one I posted, Eric? I had some problems with that, and I can't test it on larger screens than 1280 right now. I gave it some padding at the top, but it might not be enough. I recommended in an earlier post that the text ought to be moved down a bit, that would help too.

Eric, I added a wee margin at the top. Does the top of the text still get cut off?
If I had been at home now, I could have extended the tiny space above the text in Photoshop, but I don't have that prog. here.

Yes, Now there's a blank grayish 10px band at the top. The text is cut off almost to the cross bar of the H in Light.

I see. I can fix it in PS, as I said, when I'm home on the 12th. Unless I change the code again, that is... ;)
What display size do you have anyway?

Edit:
I changed the code again, for the nth time. How is it now, Eric?
