Hey guys, i'm in the middle of building a new site , as you know, and i'm stuck in a thought.. I don't know what to do

Originally I had planned to use screen shots to post daily news on my new website, mbrfar.coffeecup.com. But then I thought maybe there is a code to place a transparent box over the image so that I can update it daily easier. Is there a CSS3 style that I can use to create this "News Box" for the webpage? I'm up for any thoughts at this point.. let me know.. what you would doooo...

What are you posting Matt? Images , video captures, text or other?
This will determine which route will be easier.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Well i'd really like to go the traditional gaming route and just post news, but I think they want a more main stream site that can dynamically use images and side notes..
Also
wowslider doesn't play with my new setup :(

WOW slider should work. Your probably missing a file or script.
You could make a form and submit it to csv or mysql then use a little php to display the results into your page. I don't know where your at in your schooling so I think your the only one that can answer what will work best for you.

The wowslider isn't auto transparency either, look at mbrfar.coffeecup.com

Remember, we did exactly that in the Craig Judd site...
I would not make the sheet completely transparent, though. It will be difficult to read text against the background pic.

Can't help much with the Wow slider as I don't have it on my laptop here in Turkey. But I'm sure there is a setting for the dimensions somewhere. And then you need to give it a margin-top to make it stay clear of the page heading.

This problem with the white around the WOW slider has nothing to do with WOW itself.;)
Matt are you using Firebug in FX or any other developer tool plugins? You should be using them because you can find your problems fast.
