yeah they are both good programs and easy to use.
The Graphic Studio bundle has a very nice price point. Webstyle might be redundant after getting all the CoffeeCup stuff, though. This is definitely on my to-get list, thanks to both of you for the tip!

You can give Vector Magic a shot. They have a subscription fee now, and I haven't read the fine print to see what that's about. Your software can load .ai. Can it load regular .eps?

In theory it imports .eps, but I've not had occasion to test how robust it is.

For what it's worth, some closure on this. I recently bought Xara Xtreme after some tests on the trial version proved I could, indeed, do exactly what I used to with Illustrator. I didn't get the bundle because I already have the full suite of CC software as well as more than enough full-on 3D modeling apps. The folks over at the Xara forums were very friendly and helpful--just like they are here.
