Is there a way for me to create a New Website Project by doing a "save as" function on my current website project file with a new name in my CoffeeCup HTML Editor program?
I want to create an updated design, but retain much of my current site, and don't want to mess up my current live site while I'm fiddling around working to get a new design. So if I could save it as a new project, it seems like I could work on it until I got it the way I want it without disturbing anything on my live site until I'm done?
(If this is a really dumb question, please just roll on the floor laughing but be kind ... your program and a great forum at my host have gotten me this far, but I'm far from knowing exactly what I'm doing!)
Appreciate your help,

Want to test changing my home page...
Hiya Carra,
I don't think it has a cloning capability for projects. Just create a new project from scratch using the same information. Create the new folder first and call it whatever like name it the same as what it is now with a -test on the end of it so you can tell which is which. Now copy all the files from the current live directory to that one and you now have a duplicate of that site that will not affect the current site.
Make sure when you do the FTP part that you create a subdirectory in your server to upload files to if you want them online to see what they will look like so you don't upload to your live directory and overwrite what you have. If you do accidentally do that no worries you can always reupload from the live local files in the other project.
