If you have problems uploading 'dot' files, then call it e.g. htaccess.txt while uploading, and then change the name once uploaded. I think you need to use DFTP for that.

I don't think CC is going to like this. PHP files had this ability awhile back.;)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

What do you mean? I've done this a number of times.

I have created a file with notepad, and because notepad didn't allow me to save it as a dot file, I called it htaccess.txt. Then uploaded with DFTP to the site I wanted it for and changed the name.

However, once I have a dot file on the server, I can download it using DFTP. When trying to open it, I get the question about which prog I want to open it with. When I then choose notepad, everything is ok. I can edit it, save it and reupload without getting any errors.

Or did you mean on S-drive? Haven't tried that, though.
Ha en riktig god dag!
