Just downloaded the new version of HTML Editor (HTMLEditor-full-15.3.797.exe)
The program opens, but that's as far as I get. If I click on anything it stalls and it says "program not responding". I uninstalled and re-installed. Same thing. Restarted computer as well. Running Windows 10.

Give this a try:

1. Right-click the Editor shortcut icon, and click Properties.
2. Click the Compatibility tab.
3. Here, put a check mark by Run This Program as an Administrator.
4. Next, put a check mark next to Run This Program in Compatibility Mode For: and ensure Windows XP Pro Service Pack 3 is selected.
5. Click OK.

In the end your settings should match this:

Now see if the software opens correctly.

The only thing that changed was that now the program is completely non-responsive, but I don't get the "Not responding" message at the top and I have to go to Task Manager to close it.

I opened a support ticket two days ago. Still haven't heard anything and then I thought of one more thing I hadn't tried. I uninstalled the program and then re-downloaded it from the website. Works fine now. Something must have gone wrong with the original download. Can't believe it took me two days to think of that!

Awesome!

We did respond to you though on Wednesday at 09:45 PM. You never replied back to us. ;)

I'm glad to hear that you did respond. I never received the email. Comcast did something recently and you're not the only one whose emails have not gotten through.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
