Using Coffee(Editor) as a PHP IDE

Probably reading some of my posts tells you I dabble in PHP but I was frustrated I could not use Coffee to edit my combined html/php pages so I created a means. It is only usable for Coffee so I will give a copy of it to any one who contacts me. I cannot give out my email so I can be contacted via my site http://inkmon.org

First you need Wamp installed, a Windows server and it needs to be active for this to work. Next the page to be worked on must be in the www folder of Wamp or a folder off it.
The little program can be in any folder with a text file page.txt which contains one statement http://Localhost/mypage.html/php

Now in the Editor add the program "OpenLocal" you can also add Wamp manager to the list to activate that from within Coffee.
Usage, load the php page or combined html/php and run OpenLocal your page will open in Local host. You can then make adjustments and update.

I now not only have the best HTML Editor I can use it as a php editor as well and as I have my own server I can test forms and load a MySQL database. I could if I went online send emails. What more could you want.

I do believe it will combine those abilities eventually, Add ons are a whole lot easier than to modify a lot of code, Help files etc. But until then if you are into PHP just ask. I am selfish as the more that buy and use the Editor the better it will become and I shall benefit. Why I am offering it

I hardly get time to try out one app before you come up with another one. ;) But if this is what I hope it is, I'd be very interested. I have asked for a long time for such a feature to be included in the Editor. You may be able to sell it to CC. You have my address. :)

Sell it ? I am giving it away. :)

You should have it now. I am sure CC will catch up, it is pretty simple although to iron something new into a program is much harder than knocking up a separate entity.

To get the most out of it add bits to the snippets section like
<?php

?>
I don't know how many times I have typed that in and a few other common bits.

If I get time I shall add hotkey snippet injection. As the Editor is principly not an IDE but it can be with help. That is not as far out there as it seems. Just assign useful text bits to key strokes.

If you are wondering why I am creating these dibs and dabs, it is for a Statistical project I am working on to keep track of my many sites and control them from the desktop. These small utilities are to make life easier and save time in the long run. There is a method to my madness.

I spend time on these forums and others too as they are an inspiration for new projects logged in my to do list for the future. If I can help along the way that's good too. Simple logic. If people have problems and there is not a software solution I look into one and create a site to advertise it, I add advertisements and all is well with the world.

I use CC programs as they are the best at what they do again simple logic
