Using a USB Flash Drive to Launch a...

This is more of a "how to" question than a problem.
I was given a thumbdrive with an html document on it saying "Visit GO Army." Clicking on it obviously takes you to US Army Recruiting.
When I look at the html in CoffeeCup HTML Editor, it is very complicated and a whole page long.
My question is there an easy short piece of script that can be saved to a clickable document on a USB drive that I give away that, upon clicking, would take them to my website?
Thanks so much!

Hi there Ron,

We may need just a little more information.

My first response would be no. That being said, if I understand you correctly, you have a thumbdrive with a backup of a website called Visti Go Army?

If so do you know the actual name of the website? Is it http://www.goarmy.com/?

Also are you going to be updating the website? So many variables at play so any more information you can provide would help us help you.
Taking over the world one website at a time!

Thanks Steve for the quick reply.
Yes, the Army was giving away wristband thumbdrives yesterday. When I plug it in there was a folder of music and an html document. Clicking on the document took you to an Army Recruiting Game website. I am ordering some usb business cards for my rockremembered.com radio show and thought it would be good to create an html document that upon being clicked would to the same thing.

Hey Ron,

I answered this question this morning in your support ticket. All you need to do there is for all links, make sure they simply use a relative path name (page.html) and not an absolute path (http://domain.com/page.html). That should fix the issue.
